• How is the course delivered?

  All courses are delivered online to ensure continuity of training. Our feedback to date has been to continue online delivery. Once you book your course with us you will receive a confirmation email with your receipt and course details. The course is broadcast using online platform Zoom / Teams. • What will the course entail?

  The continuous professional development courses are delivered by way of seminar talks with a trained lecturer / industry expert. Attendees will be given the opportunity to ask questions at the close of the talk.
  
  The Director induction course is delivered over half day training session. Attendees will be trained on their obligations as Voluntary Directors and will be brought through key issues which a Voluntary Directors is likely to encounter in his / her role and how best to tackle such issues.

• Can the OMC Governance courses be expensed?

  Whilst it is up to each individual course attendee to speak to the owners management company accountant on such issues the provision of training to staff and company Directors is a relevant business expense for your owners management company.

• Does OMC Governance charge VAT?

  At present VAT is charged on all course fees at 23%. The 23% VAT has already been included in the course price when you purchased. If an OMC company is discharging the course fee the company, where VAT registered, will be able to recover this 23%. This should be discussed with your accountant.

• Does OMC Governance provide direct training?

• Does OMC Governance provide certificates and / or proof of attendance?

• Does OMC Governance provide free training courses?

  In addition to the suite of online professional fee paying courses offered by OMC Governance, OMC Governance plays host to public webinars throughout the year to a broad range of owners management company stakeholders. Please register your email address on our website to receive up-to-date information on upcoming events.

• When do I get my Certificate of Training in Governance from my subscription?

  The Certificate of Training In Governance is provided to all Directors / Officers (users) of the Standard and Advanced subscription who have completed 12 months / 1 year. The Director / Officer must have completed their course content – i.e. viewed the program videos.

• Are your courses accredited?

  We provide a wide range of courses and information webinars. All our CPD courses have been independently assessed and accredited by the CPD Certification Service, an internationally recognised accreditor. These accredited courses are marked on our website and confirm the number of credits which apply to each course.

• Are your Annual Plans updated?

  Yes, our Annual Training Plans are constantly reviewed and updated throughout the year. These updates can include new or reviewed On Demand video courses, podcasts and additional reading material and documents.

• My Online course did not have a training document at the end?

  Not all our On Demand courses include training documents, some are podcasts, some have template documents instead and some focus on video content only for more in- depth training.

• What do I get with my Annual Subscription?

  You get unlimited access to On-Demand training videos, podcasts discussions on OMC issues, and reading material, guidelines and templates for use by you and your OMC.

• What is the difference with Tiers 1, 2 and 3 on your Subscription?

  Each Tier provides a different level of training for you and your Directors. Tier 1 is basic training which provides an introduction to being an OMC director / operator. Tier 2 is our most popular level which provide an in-depth program for you and your OMC, a professional standard of training which all OMC Officers should have. Tier 3 is our advanced training program, giving you full access to all tiers and additional training on ethics and conflict, apartment owner rights and safety issues for your OMC.
